Video-documentation of “Bærum-Nuuk”
For all of you who did not attend our performance at Greenland last week, we have the pleasure of presenting “Bærum-Nuuk” in its interity.
It is 19 minutes long.
The performance started as a conversation about Greenland during a lunch in Bærum. Later it was developed for presentation in Nuuk. It is a follow-up to our multi-year project we started with “Auka Røynd” (extended reality) in Fjaler. Former artistic director of Greenlands National Theatre, Svenn B Syrin, claims it is “full of undocumented facts… ignorant, almost racist in its attitude”
He is correct. We have been a victim of Danish occupation for 434 years. Furthermore, he wondered if it´s satire or humor…
