About This Project

Martefaen by De Utvalgte was a theater documentary about self-harming. One of ten young people between 16 and 24 harm themselves once or several times.

 

Why? And who are they? were questions that were examined in the performance.

 

On stage, the audience met Pelle and Marte in dialogue. Marte has injured herself in 8 years. Through her own lyrics, photos and music, she talked about a youth coloured by intense physical pain.
